Samsung Galaxy Nexus

The Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus release date has arguably built up as much chatter as that of any new iPhone model and things show no sign of slowing down.

With the Samsung Galaxy Nexus already on sale in Europe, it is surprising that Verizon Wireless, the US carrier that is expected to have exclusivity on the Android device, has yet to announce an official release date. In fact we’ve seen Verizon raise concerns instead by bringing up issues with Google Wallet and suggesting that it may be a security issue.

Well it now looks like the unofficial Samsung Galaxy Nexus Google+ page has taken to poke some fun at Verizon Wireless for the delays. In a post they made on 13th December (yesterday), the Google+ fan page had this to say:

“Has Verizon Released the Galaxy Nexus?”

The response was, “Of course not. But the rumored release date is Nov. 3rd Nov. 10th Nov. 13th Nov. 21st Nov. 29th Dec. 8th Dec. 9th Dec. 15th…”

Funny and sad at the same time isn’t it?
