Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for Samsung Galaxy S range (Vibrant, Captivate, Fascinate, Epic 4G)

Available on T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint and AT&T, the Samsung Galaxy S variants were picked up by many US consumers who are still sporting them on account of the accompanying 2-year contract. So you can imagine the disappointment when reports suggested Samsung wasn’t planning on releasing an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the existing devices.

Well there’s good news again for original Samsung Galaxy S owners. According to TheVerge, Samsung is now revisiting the idea of developing an Android 4.0 update for the Samsung Galaxy S range. No word yet on when it will be available but this is still good news.

We’ll keep you posted as more intel surfaces.
